Hey there! I’m Razvan Radu, a 39-year-old storyteller, journalist, and horror-writing aficionado with a knack for the eerie.
My love for spine-chilling tales has fueled my path for as long as I can recall, pulling me deep into the world of horror fiction. Icons like Stephen King, Shirley Jackson, and Clive Barker rank among my favorites, inspiring me to craft stories that grip and unsettle.
I have a Bachelor’s in Animal Sciences from Wageningen University and Research Centre in the Netherlands and later widened my horizons with a 12-month online course in Mythology & Folklore from University College Cork.
This new experience was eye-opening, revealing how ancient myths and shadowy legends feed into the kind of dark & twisted stories I adore. It’s given me a unique lens for weaving tales that haunt readers long after the last line.
Journalism is another passion. And I pour my horror obsession into every word I write.
My career began in 2012 at Club Enigma, where I started as a content writer and researcher. In three years, I published over 400 articles—everything from scary ghost stories and bizarre mysteries to forensic twists.
By 2015, I’d joined Misterio as Senior Content Manager, crafting over 300 pieces on topics like spirituality, UFOs, and ancient lore, often with a horror slant.
Between 2017 and 2025, I collaborated part-time with sites like Ancient Theory and Haunting Realms, Cryptid Library, and SpookySight, sharpening my skills further.
The Horror Collection is my pride and joy, blending a decade of writing grit and horror devotion into something special. It’s not just a blog—it’s my creative core. Built on solid research and a commitment to authenticity, it’s my answer to the overblown fluff that sometimes drowns out good horror.
I’m here to deliver stories that hit hard, grounded in truth and crafted to linger.
